As I count down the days until the launch of In Maps & Legends, the webcomic I created with artist Niki Smith, I’ve been searching the Net for other online comics to read. It’s been a fun hunt, and I’m always finding more great stuff.
I’ve already ready almost all of the comics at DC Comics’ Zuda imprint. I still need to read a couple of them (some didn’t grab me right away, but I want to read ’em all). Here’s a quick overview from a few months back of some of my Zuda faves.
And here’s what I’ve found after a week or two of searching. Some have been around for a while, and others are just starting out. I haven’t read ’em all, but I thought I’d share what I’m reading and turning you guys onto some new stuff in the process.
Here’s a preliminary list of the webcomics I’ve found so far (I was going to be all ambitious and add notes about each comic, but I haven’t had a chance to read too far in all of them. I’ll add more details later, I promise, but for now I wanted to share the links so you can check ’em out for yourself):
- The Bean
- Family Man
- Fat Baby
- Fishtown
- FreakAngels
- Lightyears Away
- My Life in the Trenches
- My Sister the Freak
- The Phoenix Requiem
- Raising Hell
- Sailor Twain
- Sin Titulo
- We Make Clouds
- Zahra’s Paradise
Another link — here’s a great resource for webcomic news Paperless Comics. So if you know of some cool webcomics, lemme know! And bookmark our comic’s page, especially if you want to use an RSS feed for updates.
