I figured that since I’m such a fan of maps of all sorts, I’d add a page here of the maps I’ve created for my various writing projects. Feel free to scoff at my (lack of) cartographic skills, as well as the lack of quality with some of my photos. I plan on improving those images soon. I promise.

These two maps are for a world that I tried to write a novel about, but got stuck. Making the maps was fun, though!
And of course, the map that got me started down this path, years ago:
And this one, too…
Also, for inspiration or further reading and viewing, there are a ton of resources and blogs about maps, including:

- The Map Room
- Ogle Earth
- Martin Waldseemüller’s 1507 world map (the first map to show the Western hemisphere, also featured in the “Unwritten” graphic novel by Mike Carey and Peter Gross)
